ABLUTIONS

The dictionary definition of “ablutions” is a ceremonial act of washing parts of the body or sacred containers. Basically… Spiritual bathing.

It cracks me up what people think of when I bring up spiritual bathing. They are thinking that they need to go to a Jewish mikvah and prostrate themselves…. It’s really not that serious. A spiritual bath can be accomplished with any type of bathing situation you have….

The best way to take a spiritual bath is in a bathtub. No surprise there. You add herbs and blends to the water, light a few candles, light some incense, get in the tub and say your prayers. That’s it. I grew up in a house without a shower. Well we did have a shower, but my mother told us it didn’t work so that we’d be forced to use the bath tub. 5 people took baths at my house every morning. My mother even kept her blends in the bathroom so that we all could use what we felt we needed for the day. Let me tell you something… we never got ill… No one ever succumbs to drugs…. We never went to jail… no strange misfortunes hit our home. Our house was always spiritually clean. People often wondered why we so blessed. People who grew up around us still wonder how our house missed all the foolishness their houses received. Well, now you know our secret. We bathed!

Staying spiritually clean is like staying “prayed up”. The cleaner you are, more slippery you are. When folks level energy at you consciously or unconsciously, it cannot adhere to you. And if their shit is really strong, being clean spiritually gives you alerts so you can get your spiritual court in order.

There is such a thing as spiritual showers. You can’t go the powder/blend root with a shower unless you have a basin. But you can pour the blends over your body a few times… you must rig a way to re-collect it… you can bathe with a spiritual body wash or soap designed for your situation
